Cookies & Local Storage

1. Summary

ListingBrief AI uses only essential browser storage required to run the Service. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or cross-site trackers, and we do not sell your data. Because we only use strictly necessary storage, no consent banner is legally required — but we want to be transparent about exactly what we store.

2. What We Store and Why

Session token (local storage) — keeps you signed in after you log in with your email code. Without it you would have to log in on every page load.
Theme preference (local storage) — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
Interface state (local storage / session storage) — small flags such as whether you have dismissed an onboarding message, so the interface behaves consistently for you.
Visit id (session storage, ts.an.sid) — a random id that groups the steps of a single visit for the usage measurement described below. It is deleted when you close the tab, so it cannot link one visit to another or to you.
Unsent measurements (local storage, ts.an.buf.v1) — if a measurement cannot be sent (you were offline, or the tab closed first), it waits here and is sent on your next page load. It holds event names only.

These items are stored on your own device using your browser's local storage. They are essential to providing the Service you asked for and are not used to profile you or track you across other websites.

3. Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many people visited a page). This does not set tracking cookies and does not identify you individually. There are two parts to it, and neither uses cookies:

Our own product measurement. It records which steps of the product were used — a page view, a free-tool run, a sign-up, a generation, an export, a checkout — against the per-visit id above. Your IP address is never stored: to count distinct people per day we hash it together with that date and a secret unique to ListingBrief AI, keep the first 8 bytes, and discard the address. Because the date is inside the hash it cannot be matched to another day, and because the secret is unique to this product it cannot be matched to another Tiraisoft product. Only event names from a fixed list are recorded, we do not record the product notes you type, page addresses are stored without their query string, and a referrer is reduced to its host (for example www.google.com) and never the search terms. The measurements stay in our own database and go to no analytics company; individual rows are deleted after 30 days, leaving a daily count per step.
Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate page views, referrers and country, cookieless and sampled at the edge.

4. Managing Storage

You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing it will sign you out and reset your saved preferences. Signing out from the app also removes your session token.
