Free Etsy & Shopify listing tools
Three tools that draft one listing field each from your product notes — no account, no credit card. Each follows what the marketplace publishes about that field: its character limit, how many of them you get, and what belongs in it.
Etsy
Etsy title generatorOne title, within Etsy’s 140-character limit
Names the item once in the plain words a buyer would use, puts its objective traits first, and leaves out the adjectives and shipping detail that belong elsewhere.
Etsy
Etsy tag generatorAll 13 tags, each within Etsy’s 20-character limit
Fills every one of the 13 slots with a distinct multi-word phrase, so the listing carries the different ways buyers describe the item rather than one keyword repeated.
Shopify
Shopify description generatorA product description, plus an SEO title and meta description
Turns your notes into body copy that answers what the item is and who it is for, with the page title and meta description the product page needs.
Which one do I need?
If you are writing a listing from scratch, the order the form asks for them is the order to use them in: the title first, because it fixes the words you will reuse everywhere else, then the 13 tags, then the description. Selling the same item on both marketplaces means writing it twice — Shopify has no 13-tag field, and Etsy has no meta description — so the Shopify tool is a separate pass rather than a translation of the Etsy one.
Not sure which fields Etsy is even asking you for? The Etsy listing checklist walks the whole form field by field.
What you get without an account
Each tool runs on its own page, takes up to 600 characters of product notes and a tone, and returns copy you can select and paste. Nothing is saved to a profile, because there is no profile. Use is rate-limited per visitor to keep the tools available.
The limit of drafting one field at a time is that the fields stop agreeing with each other — a title that calls it a mug and tags that call it a cup. Generating a complete listing in the app writes them together from one set of notes and exports the result as an Etsy or Shopify CSV. The first 5 are free, without a credit card.
Frequently asked questions
Are the tools really free?
Yes, and there is no account. Each tool drafts one field from your product notes, rate-limited per visitor. A free ListingBrief AI account adds 5 complete listings — title, 13 tags, description and the Shopify fields together — with no credit card.
What is the difference between a tool and the full app?
A tool fills one field. The app generates the whole listing from one set of notes, so the title, tags and description describe the same product in the same voice, and exports it as an Etsy or Shopify CSV.
Do these tools tell me how to rank on Etsy?
No, and be wary of anything that claims to. They apply what Etsy and Shopify publish about their own fields — character limits, tag counts, what each field is for — rather than guesses about a ranking algorithm neither company documents.
Can I paste the output straight into my listing?
Treat it as a first draft. It is written from the notes you gave it, so check that every claim is true of your product and adjust the wording to your brand voice before you publish.
