eRank Pricing 2026: What Free, Basic, Pro and Expert Buy
September 16, 2026
eRank pricing has four tiers. As of September 2026, Free is $0 with no time limit, Basic is $5.99 a month, Pro is $9.99 a month, and Expert is $29.99 a month, all in USD. Pay annually and the same plans work out at $5.50, $7.92 and $22.50 a month ($65.99, $94.99 and $269.99 billed once a year). There is no free trial of the paid tiers. The Free plan is the trial, and it needs no card. The thing to understand before you pick a tier is that eRank’s plans are not sold as feature bundles so much as daily allowances: nearly every tool is on every plan, and what you buy with money is a bigger number of uses per day.
That matters because it changes the question. It is not “which features do I need?” but “how many times a day do I do this?” Below is what each plan allows, where the lines actually fall, who should stay on Free, and which tools are a better fit if your real job is writing the listing rather than researching it.
Every figure about eRank, EverBee and Marmalead below was read from each company’s own pages in September 2026. Prices and limits change, so open the page before you subscribe.
eRank pricing at a glance
| Free | Basic | Pro | Expert | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $0 | $5.99/mo | $9.99/mo | $29.99/mo |
| Paid annually | $0 | $5.50/mo ($65.99/yr) | $7.92/mo ($94.99/yr) | $22.50/mo ($269.99/yr) |
| Annual saving stated | None | $6/yr | $25/yr | $90/yr |
| Keyword lookups | 5 per day | 100 per day | 200 per day | 500 per day |
| Listing audits | 5 per day | 50 per day | 200 per day | 500 per day |
| AI Listing Helper | 1 per day | 10 per day | 20 per day | 100 per day |
| Shops connected | 1 | Up to 5 | Up to 10 | Up to 100 |
| Active listings analysed | Up to 50 | Up to 200 | Up to 4,000 | Up to 5,000 |
| Competitors tracked | 1 | 5 | 50 | 200 |
| Keyword lists | 1 | 25 | 50 | 100 |
| Rank Checker | 10 | 25 | 50 | 100 |
| Traffic stats | 5 | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
One caveat on that table: eRank’s page states the Basic competitor allowance two different ways: 5 in the detailed feature comparison, 25 in the summary row above it. The figure above is the detailed one, being the only version that fills in all four tiers. If competitor tracking is what decides your plan, check the live page rather than trusting either number.
Billing runs through Paddle, monthly plans bill on the same day each month and annual plans on the same day each year. You can cancel, upgrade or downgrade at any time; eRank’s own FAQ says you keep the paid features until the end of the billing period and the account then drops back to Free rather than closing. That is a genuinely low-risk way to buy a month and find out.
What the Free plan gets you, and when it runs out
Free is not a stripped demo. You get the Keyword Tool, listing audits, the Chrome extension, Rank Checker, one connected shop with up to 50 listings tracked, and one use a day of the AI Listing Helper. eRank says signing up needs no credit card and the free membership has no expiry.
Free is enough if you list occasionally, you are checking a handful of keyword ideas a week, you have one shop, and you are still deciding whether keyword research changes what you list.
You will hit the wall when you sit down for a listing session. Five keyword lookups and five listing audits a day is roughly one listing done properly. If you spend a Sunday refreshing ten old listings, you are out of allowance before lunch, and the ceiling is per day, so it does not help to have saved it up.
That is the honest shape of eRank’s pricing: the free tier is generous in breadth and tight in volume, so the upgrade trigger is almost always a batch of work rather than a missing feature.
Basic at $5.99: the plan most sellers actually need
Basic multiplies the daily numbers by roughly ten (100 keyword lookups, 50 listing audits, 10 AI Listing Helper uses) and adds Keyword Ideas, 25 keyword lists, five connected shops and five tracked competitors.
Basic is the right plan if you have one or a few shops, you list or refresh in sessions, and you want keyword research that does not stop mid-task. At $5.99 a month, or $5.50 paid annually, it is cheap enough that the annual saving of $6 a year is not the reason to choose it either way. Pay monthly until you are sure.
Worth noticing: the annual discounts get steeper as the plans get dearer. Basic saves $6 a year, Pro $25, Expert $90. The cheap plan has almost no annual incentive, which is another way of saying eRank expects Basic customers to churn and does not price hard against it.
Pro at $9.99: buy it for the competitor tracking, not the lookups
Pro doubles Basic’s lookups to 200 a day and its audits to 200, but the change people actually feel is elsewhere: competitors tracked goes from 5 to 50, connected shop listings from 200 to 4,000, Traffic Stats from a capped 5 to unlimited, and listing-change tracking from 5 to 20.
Pro is the right plan if you are past the point of optimising listings one at a time and into watching a niche: tracking what a set of competing shops does, seeing which keywords and platforms actually send traffic to your shop, and holding a catalogue of a few thousand listings.
Do not buy Pro for the daily caps alone. If 100 lookups a day was enough, 200 will be too, and the $4 difference buys you monitoring you may not use.
Expert at $29.99: multi-shop only
Expert is 500 lookups and 500 audits a day, up to 100 connected shops, 200 tracked competitors, 100 AI Listing Helper uses a day, and Top 10,000 Sellers instead of Top 100.
Expert is the right plan if you genuinely run many shops, or you do this for other people. A single-shop seller will not reach the Pro ceilings, and paying three times the price for headroom you cannot consume is the most common way to overspend on Etsy tools.
The cap that catches listing writers: AI Listing Helper
eRank’s AI Listing Helper generates optimised titles, tags and descriptions with competition and demand data alongside them. It is on every tier, which reads as good news, until you look at the number. 1 a day on Free, 10 on Basic, 20 on Pro, 100 on Expert.
If your job is the research and the writing is the last step, those numbers are fine. If your job is the writing (you have a backlog of listings whose titles are weak, or you add products in batches), then the allowance is the binding constraint, and it resets daily rather than monthly. Ten listings written per day on a $5.99 plan is not a lot when you are refreshing a shop, and you cannot borrow tomorrow’s.
This is the one place where a research tool’s pricing and a listing writer’s job pull in opposite directions, and it is worth being clear about which side of it you are on before you pick a tier.
eRank pricing next to the other Etsy tools
Prices below are each company’s own, read in September 2026.
| Cheapest paid plan | What you are paying for | Free tier | |
|---|---|---|---|
| eRank | $5.99/mo (Basic) | Keyword research, listing audits, competitor tracking, daily-capped AI listing help | Yes, no time limit |
| Marmalead | $19/mo (one tier) | Etsy keyword data with its MarmaMeters, listing letter grades, and an AI that critiques descriptions, generates FAQs and writes titles and tags | No |
| EverBee | $24.99/mo billed annually ($299/yr) on Growth | Sales, revenue and conversion figures on Etsy listings; unlimited keyword research | Yes, the free Hobby plan |
| ListingBrief AI | $9.99/mo (Pro) | Writing the listing itself (Etsy titles, all 13 tags, descriptions, Shopify fields), unlimited under fair use | 5 free generations a day, no card |
Read that table as four different jobs rather than four prices:
- eRank is the cheapest way into Etsy keyword research and listing audits, and it is the only one of the four with a free tier that has no time limit and real tools behind it.
- Marmalead sells one plan at $19 a month ($16 a month if you pay $190 for the year, and it also offers a $300 lifetime purchase). Everything is included, so there are no caps to reason about, but there is no free plan, so the cheapest way to try it is a month. Its AI is not only a critique of the description you wrote: beside the description critique and generated FAQs its pricing page lists, the home page now advertises AI Authoring that will “craft and enhance your listings” and an AI shop coach that writes titles and tags.
- EverBee is the most expensive and the most different: its paid plans are about what listings actually sell (sales, revenue and conversion rate) rather than about your own listing text. Its cheapest paid tier is four times eRank’s Basic. We wrote about what each EverBee plan buys separately, and about how eRank and EverBee differ on the job.
- ListingBrief AI does not do keyword research or competitor tracking at all. It writes the listing: an Etsy title inside the 140-character limit, exactly 13 tags each within 20 characters, a buyer-first description, and the Shopify fields if you sell there too.
Who should stay with eRank
Most people reading a page about eRank pricing should buy eRank. Specifically, stay with it if:
- you need to know what people search for. No listing writer replaces keyword data. eRank’s Keyword Tool, Keyword Ideas and Rank Checker are the cheapest credible version of that on Etsy, and at $5.99 a month there is not much to argue about.
- you want to audit what you already have. Listing audits against Etsy’s guidelines, tag reports, letter-grade-style health checks and “spotted on Etsy” monitoring are things a generator does not do. eRank tells you which of your existing listings is underperforming; that is a different question from what the new one should say.
- you are tracking competitors or running several shops. Pro’s 50 tracked competitors and Expert’s 100 connected shops have no equivalent in a writing tool.
- the Free plan already covers you. If five lookups a day is genuinely enough, spend nothing. The upgrade should be triggered by hitting a cap, not by a feature list.
When a listing writer is the cheaper answer
The case for spending money somewhere else is narrow and specific: you know roughly what to say, and the expensive part is saying it, repeatedly, inside Etsy’s rules.
If that is you, the arithmetic changes. eRank Pro is $9.99 a month and gives 20 AI Listing Helper uses a day. ListingBrief AI Pro is also $9.99 a month ($99.99 for a year) and generation is unlimited under fair use, with no credit counter and no per-listing cost, but it does no keyword research and tracks no competitors. You are buying volume on one job instead of breadth across several.
Practically, the two are not mutually exclusive, and the cheap combination is the interesting one: eRank Free or Basic for the keywords, a writer for the text. Basic at $5.99 plus a writing tool costs less than most single mid-tier Etsy subscriptions and puts the daily cap somewhere it does not bite.
What you get from ListingBrief on the writing side, concretely: titles that lead with the objective traits a shopper scans for and stay inside Etsy’s 140 characters; exactly 13 multi-word tags, each inside the 20-character limit, covering different ways a buyer might describe the item rather than repeating one idea; descriptions that open with what the item is and why it is worth buying; and a validator that checks title length, tag count, tag length and description structure against Etsy’s published limits before you publish. There is a Chrome extension that puts the fields into the Etsy Shop Manager and Shopify admin editors you already have open, and bulk generation for a pasted list of products. If you want to see the output before signing up for anything, the free Etsy title generator and Etsy tag generator run without an account.
How to decide, in one pass
- Count your daily volume, not your features. How many keywords do you look up, and how many listings do you write or audit, on a working day? That number picks the tier.
- If the answer is “a few”, stay on Free. eRank’s free plan has no deadline and no card, so there is nothing to reclaim later.
- If you are stopping mid-session, take Basic at $5.99 and pay monthly. The annual saving is $6, not a reason to commit.
- Only go to Pro for the monitoring: 50 competitors, unlimited traffic stats, a catalogue in the thousands. Not for the doubled lookups.
- Only go to Expert if you run multiple shops. Otherwise you are buying ceilings you cannot reach.
- If the writing is the bottleneck rather than the research, keep eRank cheap and put the money on the writing instead. Start with five free generations a day (no card) and see whether the output is what you would have written.
The honest summary of eRank pricing is that it is well judged for its job: a free tier real enough to work in, a $5.99 step that removes the friction, and higher tiers that only make sense at a scale most sellers never reach. Just be clear-eyed about which job you are buying. Research and writing are priced as if they were the same thing, and for most sellers they are not.
